Pride March is on the Sunday 1st February.
The SCA contingent has been allocated the 10.20 am start for the pride march with us meeting at the gathering point at Ian Johnson Oval, Fitzroy St Saint Kilda.
We are in Wave "I" .
The mobility accessibility area will be on the footpath next to the road and ramp connecting to the parade route. There will also be priority seating available there if required.
Parking around the area fills very early, so if you are planning on driving in you may wish to get there earlier or PT in.
There will be water bottles and icy poles in a trolley with an esky as per last year and we will be giving out business cards and blue feathers as we march.
We encourage you to bring banners, hats and fans.
We would like as many people willing to be there in garb to march with us. This can be family and friends. If you are bringing four legged friends be aware the road is normally very hot and may hurt their paws.
This is NOT an SCA event. The insurance for the event is held by Midsumma and we as registered participants, are covered by their insurance.
There is a banner painting workshop on the 26th January from 10.00am at Coulson Reserve. This will be on all day before craft hall and fighter practice. Silk banners materials will be available to purchase at the workshop, cotton pieces and fabric paints will be available as well (free).
February Bash will be on the same day, starting at 4.30pm. Separate information has been sent out via announce.
Please share this information across your populace.
I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible, celebrating inclusion and diversity in our amazing hobby.
Yours in Service
