Greetings, Lochac!
The second round of this year's Arts and Sciences Championship for Lochac
is to be judged in concert with the Spring Crown Tournament, to be held in
Stormhold, 5-7 September 2025. Judging of A&S will take place on the
Saturday.
The themes for Spring Crown, A.S. LX, will be:
- Food Storage
- Linen
- On Squares and Commons
I look forward to seeing what Lochac can do with these topics. :)
If you want to enter, but can't bring your item to the event, you have a
couple of options:
- You could send it on the day, with your trusted friend. This friend will
need to deliver the entry and remember to collect it again after judging.
- Or you can have your entry judged locally, before the event, so that we
can take your results into account when the rest of the competition is
judged.
If you do wish to enter remotely, please discuss this with your local A&S
officer as soon as possible. *Entries must be handed to them by 17th
August.* They will need time to find judges and have the entry assessed,
using the standard criteria, and then send on the results. That way, all
the entries can be taken into account at the event, as equitably as
possible.
