Reminder: seeking new Fencing Marshal of Krae Glas
This is a reminder that applications for the position of Fencing Marshal of Krae Glas are due by 30 June 2024. Greetings! Are you keen on seeing fencing flourish in Krae Glas? Then we need you to get to the point and apply for the up-coming position of Fencing Marshal. Key requirements: * You will need to be a current SCA member, 18 years or older AND have a current rapier marshal authorisation * Have knowledge and understanding of the Society and Kingdom rules as they pertain to the various aspects of fencing martial activities * Reliable and responsive access to email and internet connection * Ability to keep on top of a variety of related administrative tasks Key elements of the job: * ensure fencing activities in Krae Glas are compliant with the current rules * ensure that testing of all equipment occurs according to schedule * respond to fencing-related incidents with appropriate actions * report as required You'll find more detailed information about this role in the Officer Job Descriptions Document at https://seneschal.lochac.sca.org/resources#officer Please send your applications by 30 June 2024 to fencing@lochac.sca.org, with a courtesy copy to seneschal@kraeglas.lochac.sca.org.
