Good Gentles,
Her Majesty post Canterbury Faire requested a pre-Festival poll.
It is a little early, all things considered but I using this as an opportunity to test using google forms as a more time efficient way (for both you and the Clerk) to present/access online polls - especially for just before or after meetings.
I would appreciate it if you would take the time to click through the link below. It only contains Discuss and Assess to place:
https://forms.gle/6aV6p5TrZ7qm92en8
(If email filters eat the link: it is forms(dot)gle(forwardslash)6aV6p5TrZ7qm92en8 )
Closer to Festival I will issue a second run of the poll that will also include Watch, informed by the Order's feedback on this form of polling.
I acknowledge that this is less secure - in that it is not password protected. As you will see I have made the first section be at least an integrity buffer for the user so no one should mistakenly access sensitive content and submitters must include and email address.
I have not yet put together the Watch list prior to knowing if this format suits the Order as it's a significantly larger job, .
I have also included a question in there about how to array watch candidates for polls. I would really like to hear peoples thoughts on how to approach that before I begin populating that aspect of the form.
A thing I am particularly enthused by for this format is that it is easily editable so the Clerk can reuse this setup going onward - not having to create polls from scratch, the sections can be moved and candidates easily shifted between sections - made visible and hidden to keep things relevant to needs.
Please do click through, have a look and in doing so reward the time I've spent on this by giving it a test run.
Yours in service of sanding the sticky door of clerical work to open and close smoother for all.
Tailltiu
