Hello all,
Krae Glas is looking for a new Constable. Constables are responsible for
making sure sign-in occurs at every event, training or practice and
generally for lost property and for security and safety at events.
To apply, you will need to be a current SCA member who is eighteen years
or older.
The baseline expectation for a new Constable would be:
* To ensure sign-ins are happening at every event;
* Reporting quarterly to Kingdom and monthly to Council meetings; and
* Attending Council meetings every month or sending an apology. The
latter are on the Tuesday after Crafthall on 7:30pm via Zoom.
You do not have to attend every event, training or practice to apply for
or be successful in this role. People willing to assist our Captain of
Archers with sign-in during our archery days every two months would be
very welcome, though, as our Captain of Archers gets very busy setting
up and would appreciate the help.
Handover and training is available from a previous Constable.
