Greetings to the members of St Florian de la Riviere
The time has come for your Seneschal to take a well-deserved break and
for someone else to take on the role of group Seneschal. I am aware that
Cristin has asked for your help several times with this, and no one has
volunteered. There are 89 adult members in your group, and it is
important that someone help the group by applying for the role. The
group cannot function without Leadership, so I am asking for someone to
please apply for the role of group Seneschal.
This an opportunity to make a difference, and to guide the direction of
the Barony of St Florian de la Riviere.
Cristin's warrant as Group Seneschal will shortly expire and I am
actively seeking applications for their replacement. This two-year
office is a broad and varied role, more diverse than the official
description suggests.
The Seneschal is a group's chief administrative officer and, among other
things:
* Serves as the principal mundane legal representative of the SCA
within the group
* Receives reports from all other group officers on the status of
their office
* Makes such reports as are required to the B&B and Kingdom
Seneschal
* Has the final say on which events the group sponsors, and is the
final authority for each event steward if problems or concerns arise
* Promotes the smooth running and continued growth of the group, its
offices, and its events
You may not think that you are the right person for this job, but if
